A "complete disaster" for the Dems

By Michael J.W. Stickings

Chris Bowers: "It can no longer be avoided: super delegates will determine the Democratic Presidential nominee this year."

We need to hope, I suppose, that either Clinton or Obama runs away with it, surpassing expectations today and building unstoppable momentum heading into subsequent primaries, forcing the other one to drop out long before the convention. A brokered convention and a bitter fight for delegates leading up to it, after all, would hardly do the Dems any good.

Make sure to read Chris's insightful post in full. It explains in delegate-level detail how all this is playing out.
