The change just keeps on coming [NYT]:
President Obama will direct federal regulators on Monday to move swiftly on an application by California and 13 other states to set strict automobile emission and fuel efficiency standards, two administration officials said Sunday.
The directive makes good on an Obama campaign pledge and signifies a sharp reversal of Bush administration policy. Granting California and the other states the right to regulate tailpipe emissions would be one of the most emphatic actions Mr. Obama could take to quickly put his stamp on environmental policy.
A breath of fresh air, literally.

Ohhhhhhhhh. The euphoria just doesn't wear off, now does it? Just wait for Mitch McConnell to threaten a filibuster on Hilda Solis' nomination. Little Hilda will have to decide if she wants to be Labor Secretary (briefly - before the Teamsters bury her in center field of the new Yankee Stadium), or withdraw because Obama has to tell the union bosses to shove it up their collectively enormous fat ass on card check.
Oh, and picking a fight with Rush wasn't so bright. The president is already proving to be immature and petulent - indeed, politicall tone deaf.

"proving to be immature and petulent [sic]"
Now who was that dude who just left office? The little boy in the caped crusader suit holding Uncle Dick's hand? The guy parading around in a flight suit? The guy trying to cop a feel from Andrea Merkel? His immaturity and petulance have been a worldwide scandal, but you haven't heard a thing with your head up Limbaugh's infected butt, have you?
You're grasping so very hard at straws, but the water is deep and you just don't have what it takes to swim on your own, do you?
Stupidity never wears off.

Uhhh - who was dude? Can't remember his name We're talking about Obama now. Ya know, the Messiah, the post partisan man, the biracial healer of all things unjust!

Great reply mousey. You call him a messiah, I don't. Logic and honesty don't work that way. What kind of a retarded, batshit crazy dipstick would come up with a self-destructive reply like this?
OK, so there's nothing wrong with the devil because Jesus hasn't straightened up the world yet - that's really, really good.
