Not to be too angrily partisan here on election day or anything, but, well, the FBI is investigating voter intimidation by the GOP in Virginia. Laura Ingraham is encouraging crank calls to a hotline set up by the Democrats to deal with vote fraud and voter intimidation; this on the heels of complaints about a barrage of GOP recorded calls to voters' homes. Latino voters are being harrassed in Arizona by men wearing firearms. Democrats in Albuquerque are accusing Republicans there of providing voters with false information about the locations of polls. And, of course, our new computer voting machine overlords are a fickle lot. There are already disputes in Indiana and Denver caused by malfunctioning voting machines. Not saying all of this is intentional, although most of it clearly is, or that all of it is being carried out by Republicans, although again most of it clearly is. Good times.
