From an appallingly bad -- both shallow and credulous -- NYT profile (via TP):
I say on the air all time, "if you take what I say as gospel, you're an idiot."
From earlier in the piece: "Mr. Beck says he believes every word he says on his TV show, and the radio show that he still hosts from 9 a.m. to noon each weekday."
Hmm. Now I realize that putting two and two together smacks of elitism, and that therefore Beck would throw the full force of his right-wing populist wrath at me, but, well...
Glenn Beck is an idiot.

When you think of Glenn Beck, and what he might be saying, what belongs between the air quotes?
