Behind the Ad: Romney is dishonest. Ya think?
By Richard K. Barry
(Another installment in our extensive "Behind the Ad" series.)
Who: The Obama-Biden campaign.
Where: Swing states.
What's going on: It is difficult to campaign against anyone who finds lying so easy, but it must be done. The Obama campaign, hoping to blunt Romney's post-debate bounce and perhaps tee up an approach to the next debate, has a new ad in swing states called "Dishonest." Predictably, it attacks Romney over false claims.
It is a chilling thought that anyone could even potentially succeed in politics by lying so consistently. Color me shocked.
