Does Romney think the U.S. is a foreign country?

Is it embarrassing that Mitt Romney identified the United States as a foreign country on his 2011 tax return? Yes.
Was it a mistake? Giving him the benefit of the doubt... probably.
(And, of course, a mistake made by one of his accountant minions. Surely he didn't fill out the form himself.)
But is it really all that surprising?
I mean, don't we all know he's first and foremost a citizen of the Global Plutocratic Republic of Douchebagistan?
