Oh, the horror!
By Mustang Bobby
Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) responds to a question from a reporter from a conservative news service about the ramifications of the repeal of DADT in the military. (His reaction at 0:33 is classic.)

Great points! Man, he turned it around good there when he asked if we should segregate gyms and such, meaning DADT would become TABS (Tell And Be Segregated). The hypocrisy posed with that insipid reporter's question, I was surprised he didn't just insult the guy, in his brilliant and inimitable way, but rather he reposed with such a question that the reporter's argument was torn inside-out from at least two perspectives.
Frank is truly one of the great statesmen of our time.

Thanks for posting this, MB. It's already a classic.

I think he did insult the guy, McJones. And if the reporter didn't feel humiliated for chasing that thread, he doesn't deserve to speak, let alone hold a microphone.

Well, Muddy, I meant Frank could have compared the guy to a dining room table, or something like that, which would have been very funny. But he didn't. Instead he took the time to school the idiot on reality. I thought that took immense patience on Frank's part. People forget how Frank was always able to handle opposition with his intellectual accumen. They forget that he was always the go-to guy on negotiations with the Republicans. Frank is a genius. As I said, one of the greatest statesmen of our time. It will be a great loss to our country when Frank moves one from politics. I hope he lives to be 150!
