You're absolutely right. It was quite a day.
As critical as we've been of Obama and the Democrats, there's no denying they've gotten a lot accomplished as lame ducks. Which makes you wonder how much they could (and should) have gotten done the past two years. Not to take away from health-care reform, the stimulus, etc., but they certainly could have fought harder for their agenda.
At least we close out the year, and this Congress, on a high note.
