Pretty much sums it up.

  • Larry Odonell is an absolute liar and partisan like you Chris. I can always predict what will be MSNBC. The left is apoplectic because Cheney was effective and I love it. Cheney only requested release of the results of the interrogation which is no big leap, since the methods are already compromises. The only reason not to release the results now is pure politics. Tell Odonell I would love to have a come to Jesus meeting with him if he wants to set that up. He is an absolute partisan hack with the intelligence of a crowbar.

  • "I can always predict what will be MSNBC." Easier than trying to predict what that sentence would be if we could wring some of the hysterical hyperbole and stock screaming points from it and try to reconnect with something resembling reality.

Define "successful" for instance. I'm sure that Cheney's "success" will be matched by that of so many people we have all used as examples of unscrupulous corruption and amorality. Sure, it's a much better country after 8 years of Cheneyburton, isn't it? A great man fallen victim to "politics" and "The Left."

Ah yes the left - that being the large majority of Americans since Mr. Cheney is one of the most unpopular political figures in American history. As VP he had about the same level of public support as Hitler did in the mid 1930's in America. Those supporters were a bit embarrassed after a while and had to back off, but nothing embarrasses "the Right" does it?

Or do you mean the Straw Left? Sure, they are apoplectic - just raging and rolling on the ground. Can't go anywhere without some bearded leftists, wimps and Nancy boys writhing in apoplexy, waiting to "surrender," headpiece filled with straw, alas.

I have to love this place, though: shrieking intruders, flushed and foam flecked and telling the dignified assembly about how apoplectic they are. It's a daily occurrence, but what's a loser to do after he's lost?
