A glimpse into the mind of insanity 4

Dear Leader of the Right Rush Limbaugh closed out CPAC on Saturday, and it was all just what you'd expect, an anti-Obama smearfest (as if Obama is really against capitalism and individual liberty) and an enthusiastic call for Republican obstructionism in Washington, all to overwhelming applause from the faithful on hand. Yes, at a time when Americans are suffering -- losing their jobs, losing their homes, having trouble paying the bills, putting food on the table, and making something for their children, all Rush and the Right care about is partisanship and ideology, together wrapped up in hate, spite, and ignorance, and blocking help at a time when Americans need it most.

This is the conservative movement in America today, the heart and soul of the Republican Party.

It is a wasteland, an ugly, barren wildnerness of disease, a cancer on the body politic. And it means to destroy whatever is good and decent in the American spirit.

Is that an exaggeration? No. Not with Rush Limbaugh leading the way.
