Headline of the Day (Lieberman as Loserman edition)
By Michael J.W. Stickings
In the mood for some good news? This works for me:
That's right, a new Quinnipiac poll puts the quasi-Republican, pro-McCain Lieberman, potentially running as an independent, 28 points behind Democratic Attorney General Richard Blumenthal (58-30). Lieberman does quite well among Republicans (67-23), as one would expect, but trails Blumenthal among both Democrats (by a huge margin, 83-9) and independents (by a somewhat less huge margin, 55-29).
To which I say: You're on the right track, people of Connecticut. Don't blow it when the time comes to toss Joe out for good.
