The Reaction in Review (Oct. 5, 2008)
A weekend's Reactions that deserve a second look:
Sunday
By Libby Spencer: "Right Wing Death Wish" -- Libby examines a Frank Rich column looking at Sarah Palin's obvious open ambition to be President, "one heartbeat away."
By Capt. Fogg: "Terrible Sarah the terrorist" -- Fogg fiercely calls out Veep candidate Palin's smear regarding Ayers: "She allows bigots and racists to pretend they have legitimate reasons for hating Obama." Lots of good comments.
By Michael J.W. Stickings: "Scenes from the Gopher State" -- Good analysis of the most recent presidential race polling data in McCain's key states of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Saturday
By J. Thomas Duffy: "She's not a Hockey Mom with Lipstick ... She's Emily Litella!" -- As only Duffy can do it, Sarah Palin's exposed for her Ronnie Reagan redux of "Operation Coffee Cup." Bonus Palin "Brilliant!" Riffs.
By Michael J.W. Stickings: "The American Promise" -- Under the weather, Michael says, "I am proud to be a part of this movement for change -- even as a Canadian, even as one who cannot vote on Nov. 4."
