Dumber than W?

If I haven't mentioned it before, John McCain scares the living daylights out of me. To get such a fundamental fact as the distinction between Sunni and Shia, between Al Qaeda and Iran, wrong is unforgivable for a man one step away from the presidency. I almost wish I could chalk such a mistake up to McCain's age and possible senility, but I fear it's McCain's ignorance and basic lack of intelligence (and I don't mean CIA-type intelligence) that leads to a gaffe such as this one. This man must be kept away from any 3:00 A.M. phone calls, and red buttons, for that matter.
