Roger Waters: "Mother"

I had the good fortune of seeing Roger Waters live on his Dark Side tour in both Pittsburgh (9/06) and Buffalo (7/07). And this was one of the highlights both times, one of his greatest songs, one of Pink Floyd's best, one of the peaks of The Wall, an album of so many glorious peaks. For what it says about parents and children, and about the human condition, it may be one of the most truthful songs ever written.
