Jon who? -- The Daily Show on Capitol Hill
I suppose I take it for granted that Washington insiders and various powers-that-be watch, or are at least familiar with, The Daily Show. Jon Stewart is, after all, one of the funniest people in the world (and lately he's been particularly hilarious), and, as John McCain has put it, "the majority of young people say they get their news from the Jon Stewart show". He's clearly one of the more influential public figures in America — and his popularity certainly extends up into Canada, where I'm a regular viewer: The Daily Show is probably my only must-see TV.
Apparently, though, many in Washington don't even know who he is. Or, at least, they claim not to know who he is.
The Hill has an interesting look at The Daily Show's viewership (and lack thereof) on Capitol Hill.

this has to be a lie... kinda of like "Gennifer Flowers, who??"
Jon Stewart is my sole source of political commentary. He is one of the funniest people on TV, to my funnybone... not to mention that he is damn sexy!
go, Jon, go! We're all watching.
