I must comment on Carville/Matalin. Here's the thing. I think if it weren't for them being a couple, they would have just fired Matalin. Look, Matalin has the crazy/stupid Republican thing going on. But she is too "GOP talking points" all the time. She doesn't mix it up enough. Add to that she is angry all the time. (She's even angry in the Maker's Mark commercials.) And let's face it, she used to be kind of cute, but she hasn't aged well. (The constant anger doesn't help.)
Carville, on the other hand, is as strange and interesting as ever. He seems genuinely happy. And he was always creepy looking, so there's no problem there.
I know I'm being catty here, but there is a real issue. Matalin does not add to any political discussion. So I'm glad that I'll be less likely to see her in the future.
