A punch in the face, Italian-style

Far be it from me to condone physical violence, far be it from me to suggest that Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi deserved a punch in the face.

Far be it.

I will only say this: I suspect that few Italian leaders since Mussolini were more deserving of a bloodied nose. Mussolini, of course, deserved far worse, and he got it.

Here are a couple of news reports. The second is from Italian TV, a network called TG5, which just happens to be owned by... you guessed it... Silvio Berlusconi, the corrupt oligarch who controls much of Italian media.
