Glennbeckery, on full display
By Michael J.W. Stickings
Surprise, surprise. Glenn Beck went on the attack Monday afternoon, hurling ad hominem smears at Van Jones, one of the people behind ColorOfChange.org and the widespread advertiser boycott of Beck's show.
You didn't expect him to reply to Jones on the merits, did you? Of course not, that's not Beck's style, which is to froth at the mouth, weep tears of self-righteous indignation, and rev up the right-wing paranoia and propaganda.
For my take on the Beck boycott, see here.

A minor correction: Van Jones is a cofounder of ColorOfChange.org, but is no longer associated with the group and has nothing to do with the boycott.
It appears Beck is attempting to link the Obama White House w/ CoC's boycott effort, as Jones is currently a White House advisor on environmental issues.

I watched the same show. During the show the membership in organizations, personal beliefs as stated on film clips and written by Currently I am nurturing a deep curiosity as to what is going on in the political arena ... just listening to both sides. As long as a country is angry and divided we as a people are weak and fearful. Not a good thing for us people historically. I am more worried about the huge national debt which has increased about 5 times the debt as it was in January. Huge debts make little freedom for those that have them personally and as a country. That is a lot of Cash.
PS I went to college with SDS and Weathermen and I remember many discussions with them from then. They are more discrete working with the establishment now but I am not sure how their beliefs have been adjusted with the passage of decades.
