Augustana: "Twenty Years"
By Michael J.W. Stickings
"Twenty Years" is, I think, the best song, among many really good songs, on Augustana's fine second (major) album, Can't Love, Can't Hurt. I generally don't care much for this sort of soft, sentimental, heart-on-sleeve rock, but Augustana is certainly one of the exceptions, and, if you don't know them already, I recommend that you give them a listen -- this album in particular, from start to finish.
Here's "Twenty Years," live, at South by Southwest (SXSW). Enjoy.
