Quote of the Day: Jon Huntsman on Congressional Republicans
By Michael J.W. Stickings
A couple of weeks ago, he was our Craziest Republican of the Day for bucking his party and coming out in favour of same-sex unions.
Today, Utah Governor Jon Huntsman, a conservative Republican, provides our Quote of the Day for coming out against his own party's leadership in Washington:
Okay, that may be a bit of an overstatement. Completely inconsequential? No. Irrelevant? Not entirely. But he's certainly onto something here. When it comes to the partisan ideologues who head up the party on Capitol Hill, it probably is best, not least for the country, just to ignore them and move on with what needs to be done.

I don't even know the congressional leadership. I have not met them. I don't listen or read whatever it is they say because it is inconsequential -- completely.

Just what do you view as being relevant from any Republican politician in the country. The only one who makes any sense at all, Ron Paul, is chastised by his own party.
So tell me, where is the relevance?
These people are all a bunch of double I's; Idiotic Ideologues who are completely out of touch with the people they are supposed to be serving.
