The truth about banks and bailouts

One thing I hoped for in a Obama administration was truth. That is, a willingness to face the public with the truth and use the truth to solve the problems we face. The truth about our economic turmoil of today is that we are keeping banks afloat that are really already dead. This is not a truth I see the Obama administration, led by the same economic people who got us into this mess, facing. We can bail banks out all we want, but until the underlying rot of bad assets is addressed with honesty, and not ideology, nothing will change.
