An Iraqi journalist threw his shoes at President Bush during a press conference on Sunday.


No one was seriously injured, although White House Press Secretary Dana Perino got a black eye from a microphone during the scuffle.

In Iraq, throwing your shoe at someone is the equivalent of giving them the finger.

To his credit, the president joked about it ("All I can report is that it was a size 10"), but I guess the Secret Service can now add footwear to their list of things they'll jump in front of for the president.
