Idiot of the Day: Silvio Berlusconi

Actually, idiot may not be the right word for it. For what the Italian prime minister said today reflected not just foot-in-mouth disease, to which he often succumbs, but mind-boggling ignorance:
That's right. Berlusconi called Obama suntanned.
If he was joking, then he's a jerk. If not, then he's a narrow-minded fool.
Anything is possible with one of Europe's most corrupt and detestable leaders.

I will try to help relations between Russia and the United States where a new generation has come to power, and I don't see problems for Medvedev to establish good relations with Obama who is also handsome, young and suntanned.

Guys please help us getting rid of that funcking bastard. He is the worst cancer a country can get, he is worse than mafia cause he owns media power and controls pretty much everything in Italy. After 15 years of lies on TV, paper, and via corrupted journalists, he has managed to raise a big bubble of fake reality around the minds of many people and what is worse many young people! If anybody tries to denounce his wrongdoing, he calls you a communist, a terrorist, a liar, or an imbecile! and if you have a job as a journalist you are dead.
We are under a media/mafia dictetorship and right now all i can suggest is to be freed by a foreign army or to get him singled out in Europe and in the world. only that moron of Bush could get along with this inept
please help us by keep writing about this bastard and maybe some continuous foreign attention will help to control his actions and the half of Italy who voted him to understand they have been just foolish!

I'm Italian and Berlusconi doesn't rappresent me! but ther are people , (or should I say idiots?), that wants him to have power. I'm really embarassed for how Italy is considerated in Europe and in the world, but I say it again, not all of the Italians voted for that jerk.

I left my adored country six years ago because I cannot stand the sight of this liar and his followers. The Italian people are fully responsible for their demise and I am convinced they have brought all of this, including the Berlusconi disease, onto them. Once we were the people of a great, proud country. Italian society was brimming with fine thinkers and industrious innovators and hard, respectable workers in charge of beautiful and flourishing families. Friends, look at what we have become now, greedy, dull and defeated with no pride for what we are or we were, wallowing in the titties of the starlets on telly with sedated brains which have become addicted to all of it. While Italy slowly and irredeemably slides into its darkest age caused by wrongs of its own making my heart sink and my eyes shed tears. If you are reading this and feel touched, if there is still pride in you please, turn your television off, burn it, read, learn, vote, work be serious pay taxes, bring your children up the right way, believe in your country, punish the work-shy, the too clever and the lazy, make it right and most of all use your fine brain again. If we all do this Italy will be the land of milk and honey again.
