McCain kills noted novelist
By Edward Copeland
Since truth seems to have less and less to do with political advertising this season, I think someone needs to get an ad up blaming John McCain for the suicide of author David Foster Wallace. The novelist behind Infinite Jest hanged himself this weekend at the age of 46.
His last book was a reissue of his 2000 Rolling Stone profile of the 2000 Straight Talk Express. Recently, Wallace told The Wall Street Journal how much the 2008 McCain disheartened him:
Therefore, it's at least as plausible claim to make than some of the lies the GOP has been peddling.
John McCain: murderer.

McCain himself has obviously changed; his flipperoos and weaselings on Roe v. Wade, campaign finance, the toxicity of lobbyists, Iraq timetables, etc. are just some of what make him a less interesting, more depressing political figure now — for me, at least.
Therefore, it's at least as plausible claim to make than some of the lies the GOP has been peddling.
John McCain: murderer.

Ah - that would of course be spelled "you're" otherwise the sentence is about as funny as a dog standing on its hind legs thinking it's human -- or maybe as pathetic as a Republican.
