Quote of the Day

By Creature

"The argument holds no water at all, not even a thimbleful." -- Allan Lichtman, political historian, on Hillary's "big-state" (now morphed into an electoral college) theory on how she can win in November and Obama can't.

Hillary thinks the superdelegates, and the American people, are dumb.

  • That's the thing that strikes me so much about Obama and especially his speech last week: He speaks to voters as if they were adults. He doesn't talk down to them as Hillary or McCain or Gore or countless others do or have. My only fear: Are there enough people out there to appreciate that or even know how to be spoken to as an adult anymore?
