I have seen the future and it is Gore

The great Joe Gandleman posts today on an AP article regarding Hillary, her negatives, and how those negatives have Democrats worried about the senator's "inevitable" nomination. It's this kind of worry, it's this kind of talk, which has me convinced that Al Gore will enter the '08 race and he will take Obama along for the ride.

Creature! I'm an Obama supporter so I am kind of surprised how appealing that Gore-Obama ticket sounds to me. I'm diggin' it. Thanks.

Gore is as flawed a choice as Hillary. Despite the rehab he has made for himself in light of An Inconvenient Truth, this is still the man who lost an election he won through his own attempt at cleverness, thought Censorin' Joe Lieberman would make a fine vice president and has his own anti-free speech record alongside his wife. No thank you. Gore can and should stay out of this. He could blow it just as badly as Hillary could if she buys the nomination. The GOP is the walking wounded at this point and Democrats can't afford to help them out by nominating either of those two retreads.

Joe's piece belies something not said, that Hillary's high-flying polling has more to do with her recognition factor, not her substance ... I'm not about to concede the nomination to her ...
That said, with the state of the GOP, and the dead weight of Bush, the Dems could put up the cadaver from 'Weekend At Bernie's' and still run away with it ...
