Richardson's in

By Heraclitus

Bill Richardson, who has considerable government experience at the state (governor of New Mexico), national (fifteen years as a Congressman and Secretary of Energy in the late '90s), and international (former US ambassador to the UN) levels, is forming a presidential exploratory committee. For more on Richardson's career, see his biography here. He is, as you've probably heard, also Hispanic. He doesn't have the name recognition or the fund-raising abilities of most of the other candidates, but I think he's a very interesting dark horse. Imagine something like Gore-Richardson (and it looks like we'll have to confine ourselves to simply imagining it).
