Who's Joe Sestak?

He's the Democratic challenger in PA-07, running against Republican incumbent Curt Weldon, "one of the most corrupt and slimy members of Congress," according to Firedoglake's Howie Klein, who features Sestak in that blog's Blue America series.
Joe Sestak is an exceptionally strong candidate and will make an exceptionally good member of the House of Representatives. You can find his bio here.
How impressive are his qualifications? He was a Vice Admiral in the Navy and he holds a Ph.D. from Harvard. This is someone who clearly knows a thing or two about the military and national security.
He's tough, he's progressive, and he has our support. Let's hope the voters of Pennsylvania's 7th District send Joe Sestak to Congress next month.
