U.S. not prepared for terrorist attack
Over four years after 9/11, and with so much (rhetorical) attention on the so-called war on terror, the U.S. is still unprepared for another terrorist attack, according to Tom Kean and Lee Hamilton, the Republican chairman and the Democratic vice-chairman, respectively, of the 9/11 commission.
I'm sure the Bush Administration has some fascinating spin on homeland security -- I'm sure everything's just hunky-dory -- but Kean and Hamilton, neither of whom has an obvious partisan ax to grind, continue to reveal disturbing flaws in America's preparation, or lack thereof, for another serious terrorist attack.
I've said this over and over again, but there's only one man to blame. And we've still got three more years left of him. Isn't it time he was held accountable?
